“One of the most exhilarating and breathtaking experiences in Rome is to take a scooter ride. We are going to take a scooter ride by the most famous Roman monument of all time and one of the most iconic buildings in the world, the Colosseum.
Some ancient Egyptian lions that have been turned into fountains at the staircase by Michelangelo. If you look over to your right you’ll see Catherine Pollock at the top of the stair which leads up to the Campidoglio hill which, was redesigned by Michelangelo – and a medieval church, the Church of Saint Mary and the altar in the skies, where it was said if you climbed that staircase on your knees, you’d win the Italian lottery. In olden times it was to get a blessing but in modern times it became about “show me the money”.
