Wedding Series 1: Part I – If George Clooney Can Elope…
Leave the white wedding to Billy Idol, because eloping is the new black. Eloping is trending, and more and more couples are throwing a fun elopement that shows off their own style. Meet Kristal and Casey from Bossier City, Louisiana. They fell in love with San Francisco and wanted an elopement that allowed this city to be their honored guest. “I had searched and searched for something ‘all inclusive,” Kristal said. “I didn’t really want the hotel elopement I wanted a ‘destination’ wedding incorporating the city.”
Getting Your Fairytale Wedding
A lot of couples believe that an elopement means that they won’t get their fantasy wedding. Not true. Hornblower’s wedding coordinators personalize every single wedding detail, so that it’s extra special. For Kristal and Casey’s wedding, they provided everything down to the red velvet cake with buttercream frosting (yum!).
“We were able to choose the type of vows we liked and the way in which we would like the ceremony to read,” Kristal said, “They were very accommodating for our first dance and it made it very special celebrating our night with the rest of the guests on board.”
Launch the Big Day
The venue can be a source of inspiration for your clothes, bouquet and flowers, hairdo, etc. “Hornblower Cruises & Events fit perfectly in my plans and vision. The staff was wonderful and the date happened to be open (less than a month out), so it just felt like it was meant to be,” says Kristal
